Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: March 2026 · Required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
Plain English summary: When you click "Apply Now" in FeeWorth and are approved for a credit card, we may receive a payment from the card issuer. This costs you nothing extra. It does not change the card's terms, rates, or benefits — and it does not change which cards we recommend or how we present them.
What Are Affiliate Links?
An affiliate link is a tracked URL that tells a bank or card issuer that a visitor came from FeeWorth. If you click that link and are approved for the card, the issuer pays FeeWorth a referral commission as part of their standard marketing program.
Many personal finance sites, comparison tools, and blogs use affiliate links to cover operational costs. FeeWorth is no different.
What We Earn (and Don't Earn)
- We may earn a commission if you click an "Apply Now" link and are approved for a card
- We do not earn anything if you view a card, add it to your wallet, or click without applying
- We do not earn anything from merchants listed in the Offers tab — those are informational only
- Commissions vary by issuer and card product; we do not disclose the specific amounts we receive
This Costs You Nothing
Affiliate commissions are paid by the card issuer from their marketing budget. Your interest rate, annual fee, sign-up bonus, credit limit, and card terms are identical whether you apply through FeeWorth or directly through the issuer's website.
Our Recommendations Are Independent
FeeWorth includes cards based on their objective value — earn rates, benefits relative to annual fee, transfer partner breadth, and overall usefulness. We do not:
- Promote cards more prominently because they pay higher commissions
- Exclude cards because they don't have affiliate programs
- Rank cards based on commission rate
- Accept payment from issuers to feature specific cards
Our Card Finder quiz recommendations are generated algorithmically based on your spending habits, fee tolerance, and experience level — not by commercial relationships.
Which Cards Have Affiliate Links?
Most major cards in FeeWorth have affiliate links. Cards from smaller issuers or niche programs may link directly to the issuer's public application page without an affiliate tracking parameter. The presence or absence of an affiliate link does not affect a card's inclusion or presentation in the app.
FTC Compliance
Per FTC guidelines (16 CFR Part 255): FeeWorth discloses its material connection to card issuers through affiliate compensation. This disclosure appears on this page, adjacent to "Apply Now" buttons throughout the app, on the Quiz results page, and in the app footer. FeeWorth's operator receives financial compensation from card issuers when users apply for and are approved for credit cards through affiliate links on this site.
